In its early years, the brand Gatorade consisted of a single product line — Gatorade Thirst Quencher — it was produced in liquid and powder form and had only two flavors: lemon-lime and orange. These remained as the only two flavor options for nearly 20 years, until the addition of the fruit punch flavor in 1983.
